The need to apply proficient dynamic abilities and relational abilities is brought out. 1. Presentation This paper examines a contextual investigation drawn from my experience working for an aggressive behavior at home office in internal London during 2012. I center upon an occurrence where I worked alone with a help client enduring abusive behavior at home. There is no legitimate meaning of abusive behavior at home (DV). In any case, the legislature portrays DV as â€Å"any occurrence of compromising conduct, brutality or misuse (mental, physical, sexual, money related or passionate) between grown-ups who are or have been seeing someone or between relatives, paying little mind to sex and sexuality† (Home Office 2012 [online]). Most announced DV cases are coordinated by men towards ladies. DV likewise happens in same sex connections and in a moderately modest number of cases, by ladies against men. The contextual investigation is depicted, and my encounters of dynamic and how I practiced proficient authority brought out.I investigate the speculations encompassing the zones I tak e a gander at for the situation study, especially the manners in which hypothesis joins with training. I additionally take a gander at the lawful strategy system which is pertinent to the contextual investigation. I likewise bring out close to home abilities including correspondence and take a gander at the job they played. 2. Contextual analysis I began my arrangement with an abusive behavior at home organization in a downtown London precinct in March, 2012. The office works solely with administration clients escaping residential violence. The episode I have decided for this contextual analysis included solitary working with an assistance client who had moved toward the association that I am on position with for help in regards to aggressive behavior at home maltreatment she was enduring at home. The administration client will be alluded to as SS as per the Data Protection Act 1989.SS is a French national who had migrated to the United Kingdom with her mom at 14 years old. Her relationship with her mom had separated on the grounds that she stayed in a relationship with the culprit (Perp) at her mother’s objection. She had been hitched to the Perp for a long time. They have two youngsters, age 14 months and 2 months, her first kid is a young lady and the new conceived child a kid. The perpetrator began to be controlling after she had their first youngster. After their subsequent kid was brought into the world the maltreatment began happening all the more every now and again. On a specific event, the perpetrator snatched SS, tossed her against the divider and hit her multiple times over the face. She moved toward my situation office for help after she was exhorted by another organization. SS went to as an obligation. Consequently, the onus was on me as the obligation staff to survey her conditions and offer suitable guidance and backing to defend SS and her youngsters. Thusly, I had a job of duty, with the future prosperity of SS halfway in my hands.I arranged for the DV2 appraisal in accordance with the agency’s solitary working strategy. I marked SS in and educated my friends regarding the room where the appraisal was occurring; I likewise reserved her in the obligation book. I ensured the evaluation room I pick was accessible, spotless, open and agreeable as there was an expert from another organization and her youngsters with her moreover. I additionally ensured that SS had a private space to examine her issues and express her sentiments without breaks from her kids. I had given toys to occupy her oldest youngster while the appraisal was going on. SS educated me during the appraisal that a portion of the archives that she may need to introduce at the Homele ss alternatives Center (HOC) were at home, she offered to rapidly surge home to get them while the culprit (Perp) was as yet busy working. I prompted her that the hazard related with such activity may be excessively incredible for the youngsters and herself, as the culprit may stroll in on them. I gave her choices to either get a police accompany or ask a companion who lives close to the house to get such reports for her. By so doing I had the option to deal with the hazard to SS and her youngsters. I utilized the DV2 appraisal structure to comprehend her needs, while additionally cooperating with SS to react to her emergency circumstance. I had the option to address practices that represented a hazard to her and the youngsters, I perceived and recognized the hazard to SS in the event that she comes back to the house alone. She concurred that returning to the family house will put the youngsters and her in danger. The hazard was surveyed and designs were set up to oversee such hazard and limit the danger of further maltreatment to her and the youngsters in understanding to the GSCC code of training and Every Child Matters plan, 2004. Through the DV2 evaluation, I likewise ready to distinguish the requirement for sheltered and agreeable settlement to oversee such recognized hazard to SS and her kids. Notwithstanding, my anxiety was that she may return to the injurious relationship if suitable help was not accessible. SS would in any case need to breeze through the routine residency assessment (HBT) as an in EEA national to determine her privileges to open assets in the United Kingdom on account of SS’s nationality (French). In the event that she bombs this test (HRT), she probably won't be qualified for benefits, and the pressure of dealing with two youngsters without a salary may be a lot for her to adapt to alone. Consequently, without satisfactory help accessible, she may come back to the harsh condition from where she is attempting to escape. I composed a lodging letter to the HOC to help her case for abusive behavior at home and furthermore offered to go to the HOC focus with her to advocate for her benefit. You read Practice Experience, Decision-Making and Professional Authority in classification Exposition models By so doing I had the option to alleviate the hazard to which SS and the youngsters were uncovered. I gave her a voice and furthermore considered the children’s circumstance and the legal help that may be accessible for them. I looked for nearby asylums to address her lodging need, made a referral to children’s social administrations, gave food vouchers and made game plans for them to be suited away from the perp’s territory of impact. 3. Hypothetical Context/Legal Policy and Framework, Application to Case Study This case can be found with regards to various hypotheses applicable to the circumstance, and furthermore with regards to current legitimate strategy and lawful structure. This area will take a gander at these associations, first at the hypothetical setting and next at the lawful circumstance. 3.1 Theoretical Context and Case Study Application The clinician Maslow recommended that every individual have various necessities which should be fulfilled all together for an individual to live at their maximum capacity. These requirements, he likewise recommended, structure a chain of command, that is, they are requested. ‘Lower’ needs are required to be fulfilled first, before different necessities become possibly the most important factor (Maslow 1943). Physiological necessities are the most fundamental, including things we have to do to endure (eating, dozing and so forth.). Next come security needs, that is the requirement for safe house and access to wellbeing administrations. Once these are fulfilled, social needs become pertinent. These are the requirements for feeling some portion of a gathering, fondness and comparable. These are as often as possible fulfilled by work, companions and family.Higher level needs are the requirement for regard, that is, for liking oneself and social acknowledgment, and the requir ement for ‘self-actualisation’, the requirement for self-improvement and satisfying one’s capacity without limit (Zastrow et al 2009). Regarding this model, SS was unmistakably battling with needs at the least level, physiological and security needs. She was thinking that its hard to get to assets for her kids to eat, and given that the perpetrator. lived in the family home, her lodging needs were compromised. SS’s wellbeing would likewise be under danger should she come back to the family home. All things considered, the model predicts that SS would feel outstandingly shaky and helpless: â€Å"partially met or neglected human needs are related with expanding vulnerability† (De Chesnay and Anderson 2008, p. 489). Another hypothetical model is given by emergency intercession theory’. This is an especially helpful model as it is coordinated towards useful activity (Coady and Lehman 2007). It is based around the possibility that an emergency presents both a test (in an extraordinary structure) and a chance (Roberts 1995). At the end of the day, an emergency can prompt positive change. One driving designer of the thought was Erkison (1950) CITE) who took a gander at the pretended by emergency in the development of run of the mill individuals. Eric Lindemann (1944) built up a precise model to manage emergency. A model recommended by Golan (1978) is helpful for this contextual investigation. He recommended four phases: first, the individual enduring the emergency builds up an abstract reaction to the circumstance. Next, this prompts upset or absence of equalization, past methods of managing issues don’t apply. At this stage, however it is clamorous, there is some expectation for new m ethodologies. Thirdly, this specific emergency can connection to uncertain clashes in the individual. At last, the initial three phases lead to new chances to grow better approaches for managing possibly harming circumstances. It is the job of the expert to help the administration client see these better approaches for reacting (Roberts 1995). As far as the contextual analysis, SS is by all accounts at an emergency point, and one which prompted the advancement of better approaches for managing w

It is a relationship that is built up exclusively to meet the patient’s needs and along these lines, is remedial in nature. Chambers et al (2005, p303) propose relational and restorative connections are at the focal point of nursing work, the relationship that exists among attendant and patient can frequently give the vitality and be the impetus, the inspiration and the wellspring of solidarity to proceed with treatment or face troublesome once in a while dangerous circumstances. These are: 1. Quality 2. Continuance 3. Feeling fearless and bold 4. Capable 5. Freedom 6. Content with self 7. Feeling of significant worth Freshwater et al (2005, p101) proposes the attendant patient relationship can be seen as a significant remedial instrument of compelling patient consideration. McHugh Schuster (200, p7) satisfies that correspondence assumes a significant job in the remedial relationship. Clark Bridge (1998, p2) recommend that types of correspondence, for example, posing inquiries, permitting patients to communicate their emotions, or consoling patients by methods for contact will likewise bring about significant patient consideration, and increment understanding fulfillment and prosperity. Nichols (refered to in McQueen 2000, p723-731) additionally recommends that the attendant is the focal figure in the patient consideration and is best put to give a great part of the mental consideration and this requests great relational abilities to shape a remedial relationship with patients and to impart all the more adequately with family members and other wellbeing experts. Correspondence covers a wide scope of things including contact, play, and energy. Contact is significant as it indicated that I was tuning in to the patient’s, contact can mean various things, and it is a quiet language of non-verbal conduct. Contact is a loving method of transmitting warmth. Not all individuals are alright with utilizing contact so it’s imperative to know the limits with every individual patient, which you learn through correspondence. Another non-verbal correspondence ability could be quiet giving both the patient and the human services specialist time to consider earlier or future occasions in the patient’s care. In spite of the fact that it is significant that the patient’s needs are still met and that the attention is still on them. In this way it is significant that the medical caretaker includes the patient through different methods for correspondence which again could be through touch or play. The NMC (2004) states that the medical caretaker must perceive and regard the job of the patient/customer as accomplices in their consideration and the commitment they can make to it. This would be the period of recognizable proof in Peplau’s (1988) model of the attendant patient relationship. Peplau (refered to in Hinchliff et al 2003, p130) sees the medical caretaker quiet relationship as going through four stages. They are as per the following: 1. Direction 2. ID 3. Abuse 4. Goals Riley (refered to in Cutcliffe et al 2005, p304) recommends that restorative connections are about patient’s exposure of individual and infrequently excruciating sentiments with the medical caretaker at a determined passionate separation close to enough to be included yet target enough to be of help. Neal (refered to in Hinchliffe et al 2003, p102) states that classification and trust are different sides to a similar coin and trust is another significant credit to the helpful relationship as the patient will put their trust in the attendant. Remedial consideration doesn't just exist in nursing care however ought to likewise be found in consistently connections with individuals that you interact with every day. So as to completely comprehend restorative consideration as an idea, I have looked into the first meaning of this word. The word reference definition states â€Å"providing great impacts of your brain or body†, â€Å"of or identifying with the treatment of illness†. In light of the definitions recorded above there are a few traits that ought to be noted with viable restorative consideration. These incorporate yet are not constrained to: 1. In Douglas Merrill’s Forbes article titled â€Å"Why Multitasking Doesn’t Work†, the contributing writer offers different expressions on the situation based propriety of performing multiple tasks. It is the assessment of the creator that performing various tasks during straightforward, humble errands, for example, collapsing garments and talking on the telephone doesn't require a high request of mental ability to execute; accordingly, it is adequate to multicast while taking part in these exercises. On the other side, the creator contends that hen assignments require cerebrum connect with and the objective is for long haul memory catch, at that point performing various tasks doesn't permit momentary memory to draw in and along these lines has no chance to resolve to long haul memory. Obviously Google distinguished that performing various tasks was an impediment to the accomplishment of business, in any event in accordance with gatherings. While the article remains inferred on other performing multiple tasks observances and furthermore expresses that lone a part of gatherings were considered PC free, the peruser can't accept whichever way that Google expects or completely denies performing multiple tasks in the working environment. In Christine Rose’s The New Atlantis article titled â€Å"The Myth of Multitasking†, the writer focuses on a convincing contention against performing various tasks for the most part bolstered by clinical research and social references. Her article starts with a Lord in the sass’s offering guidance by means of a letter to his child. The letter praises the prudence of the capacity to center and is the genuine characteristic of knowledge. The creator at that point offers clinical data through practical MR. filters that subtleties the principal imperfections in learning through performing multiple tasks by noticing the activity of specific parts of the cerebrum. All through the article, Rosen alludes to performing multiple tasks as a kind of Adult Attention Disorder. She draws on work finished by DRP. Edward Hallowed who instituted the effects of performing various tasks as Attention Deficit Trait† (ADD) and further depicts ADD as â€Å"purely a reaction to the hyperkinetic condition in which we live†. Rosen closes the article with an inquiry. Will people just adjust to the truth of performing various tasks by making it a piece of our day by day lives regardless of the repercussions? Provided that this is true, people may receive the benefits of data yet may not understand the related knowledge. I likewise concur with this creator. Her contention is clear and bolstered socially and deductively. Her legitimate conversation of the impacts of performing various tasks are sensible and ell spread out. The creator shows that the workplace has changed by people readily adjusting a not exactly positive learning condition that may cost organizations through lost efficiency. Through the author’s contention, I accept that she is suggesting that it is a general desire from manager’s that performing various tasks is to be used to achieve work errands. I have numerous long periods of work understanding and school added to my repertoire. My involvement in performing multiple tasks has been variable. Now and again, I am profoundly successful performing multiple tasks when the errand is value-based. I can switch to and fro between numerous assignments with little result. Anyway when high request believing is required, I. E. Breaking down information, making introductions, perusing course materials, and so forth , I discover I am considerably more fruitful whenever I am managed the chance to center one errand and afterward proceed onward to the following. Now and then after critical exertion, I may switch work/school subjects to give my brain a rest and get on another point, yet I would scarcely allude to this as performing multiple tasks but instead vital maidenhair. At the point when I am required to multicast at work, I do discover it rather unpleasant. My abilities to think plainly, relieve issues, and impart viably are enormously decreased. I as a rule end up intellectually disappointed after extensive stretches of performing various tasks and my capacity to rotate to different assignments is extraordinarily lessened. Now and again, this has had a genuine, negative effect on my work execution. For example, when I was shuffling such a significant number of assignments that when an unrivaled had a period touchy information demand I neglected to record the need and in this manner didn't give the information. I didn't happen to me by day end that I had not practiced this assignment. The following day, my boss irately showed up at my work area advising me to overlook the information demand since a gathering to examine the information had just occurred. I clearly felt baffled in myself and apologized to the predominant. The most basic thing a director can do to lead and oversee representatives in a performing various tasks condition is to show workers how to organize and give them the scope to push back on asks for and explain practicality. On the off chance that a worker can viably organize his/her remaining burden, at that point there might be a to a lesser extent a requirement for a disputing approach as the representative handles an undertaking at once arranged by their significance. This MIT Grad Is Making SAT, ACT Prep Cheaper

This MIT Grad Is Making SAT, ACT Prep Cheaper by: Naomi Nishihara on January 23, 2017 | 0 Comments Comments 1,232 Views January 23, 2017Tom Rose worked as a high-priced tutor, making $400 a session, while completing his MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Along the way he had a revelation:  80% of the work he did could have been done better by a machine.Rose, who  studied entrepreneurship at MIT, saw an opportunity. He would computerize the 80% that  could be computerized, so tutors and students could focus on the remaining 20%. And at the same time, he would make tutoring cheaper for students. With classmate Miro Kazakoff, Rose  built a software program that could teach students the things they needed to learn on their own time, while also  creating data that coaches and tutors could access to make their interactions more efficient.â€Å"We believe in the power of human motivation, Rose tells PoetsQuants. Lots of people believe in the value of it. But the chall enge of working with humans is that they’re very expensive. â€Å"So what we’re working on is technology that allows us to deliver high-value interactions with less human time. We want to cut out all the stuff that’s low-value.†Tom Rose100,000 STUDENTS HAVE USE THEIR SOFTWAREWhen they graduated in 2011, Rose and Kazakoff launched Testive, an online ACT/SAT prep company. Today, more than 100,000 students have used Testive  software.Four thousand  practice problems are free to students on Testives  website, and an algorithm the founders  built at MIT streamlines the studying process to help students learn faster.â€Å"When you set out to learn something, one of the biggest challenges is knowing where to spend your time. It’s very easy to spend your time on things that don’t help,† Rose says. â€Å"So something we’re able to do is mine the data that comes from student performance to learn where they should spend their tim e to generate the most benefit.†Though the practice problems are free, the company makes money by selling additional learning tools and setting up weekly video-call meetings for students and Testive coaches.â€Å"When you prepare for the SAT or ACT, it takes about 100 hours to reach your potential,† Rose says. â€Å"It’s really hard for students to put 100 hours into something, so the job of the coach is to help them stick with it.HIGH-VALUE HUMAN INTERACTIONThere are a number of edtech startups now, but what sets Testive apart, Rose says, is its focus on the power of human motivation. â€Å"One of the things I believe is a mistake with a lot of edtech startups is that they fail to address what keeps people sticking with a task. At most, attrition is really high, like 90%. At Testive, it’s 5%,† he says.Testives coaches are the reason students keep at it, Rose says. At the moment, the company  has 30 human coaches, most of whom work part-time â₠¬â€ about 10 hours a week. But they’re able to work with around 20 students at a time because they don’t spend time on anything a student can do alone.â€Å"If you imagine that we leave where we are, and try to find the closest tutor to us, that person is probably sitting next to a student and reviewing practice questions,† Rose says. â€Å"They’re helping the student figure out what they did wrong, and that’s a useful thing in general. But it’s a bad use of human time.†Instead, Rose says, it’s a much more effective use of time to give students the resources to figure things like this out themselves, so that when they meet with a coach they can answer questions like, â€Å"What is your goal? What is your plan for how much work you’re going to do next week? How did it go last week? Did you have any problems, and can we brainstorm ways to change your process so you don’t have these problems again?†A really b ad use of time, he says, is to have coaches asking students things like, â€Å"Did you do your homework?† Page 1 of 212 »

The Augustan Reformation Responsive Or Ideological

The Augustan Reformation: Responsive or Ideological? The government and laws of ancient Rome emphatically ruled the people who resided there. However, Caesar’s assassination in 44 B.C. brought out anarchy. The lower classes, which were very much in support of Caesar, became infuriated that a group of aristocrats had murdered him. Antony, who had arrived with the intent of taking control of Rome, and Octavian, later to be referred to as Augustus, formed an uneasy alliance in order to try and reunite Rome. However, the two eventually turned against each other, and after a battle in Actium in 31 B.C., Augustus became the first official Roman Emperor. Augustus reigned over Rome, determined to resolve the social disorder that was present at the time. Leading with such strength, he began a 200-year period of peace, now known as the Pax Romana. His many laws that were enforced represented a concrete response to the chaos that was present in Ancient Rome. Roman morality had dwindled as the Republic went into a state of decline. Augustus believed that the political turmoil and many civil wars that had existed were caused by the immorality of the Romans (Women and Politics). This regression of morality had weakened the Roman Republic and ultimately led to the political chaos that resulted in the fall of the Republic. One aspect of morality that Augustus claimed had been neglected was the importance that was placed on family. Augustus ruled a patriarchal society. Men were

The Flea By John Donne - 1558 Words

â€Å"The Flea† Essay â€Å"The Flea† by John Donne when looked at briefly is simply a poem about a man trying to seduce a woman into participating in pre-material sexual relationship with him. However, â€Å"The Flea† constructs many more important arguments than simply that one. The poem touches on religion, love, and sex in a non-romanticized way, contrasting the normal glamorized stance seen in most of poetry. Most of John Donne’s poems have either romantic themes or religious themes; â€Å"The Flea† has both. It is important to recognize that Donne was a 17th century preacher who converted from Catholicism to Protestantism (â€Å"John Donne.† Poetry Foundation). The struggle between lust and dedication to Christianity is not unfamiliar to Donne and is most†¦show more content†¦He makes the point that the flea has sucked both of their blood and therefore, inside the flea, their blood is mixed together. He states that it was a simple and natural happening and that there was no â€Å"sin, or shame, or loss of maidenhead† (Donne) associated with the incident. The woman attempts to squish the flea and the speaker attempts to stop her as now the flea is more than a simple flea since it contains part of both of them. Alas, the woman kills the flea but the speaker is quick to change his agenda stating that no more honor would be lost in sleeping with him than it was in killing the flea. It takes the stance that lust precedes reputation. The first line of the poem states â€Å"mark but this flea†(Donne) although it is before the reader learns that the flea will become a metaphor for sexual relations, looking back on the choice of belittling words, it seems to imply that sex is not a serious matter. The second line conforms this idea as the speaker pushes the idea that she is denying him of such an insignificant activity. Of course the woman denying him has a similar idea to most of 17th century women. It is forward thinking of Donne to speak of sexual relations in such a casual demeanor. The speaker complains that the fly gets to enjoy the taste of this woman without any wooing while he cannot. The climax of the poem occurs at lines 10-11 when Donne writes â€Å"O stay, three lives in one flea spare, Where we almost,Show MoreRelatedThe Flea By John Donne883 Words   |  4 PagesJohn Donne was a contemporary of Shakespeare. The extraction of the employee feedback is essential for the organization to know the requirement of the employees. The staff and the departmental meetings are needed to be associated in this process. c) The arrangement of the suggestion program is also necessary in taking advice from employees regarding the working environment that can develop their performance skills (Cerdin and Brewster, 2014). d) Successful organizations like Telstra are acquiring the open-door policy, which keeps focus on the input provided by the employees. The management concentrates on presenting an open culture to the employees that can be beneficial in providing them a comfortable working scenario (Franca and Pahor, 2012). The managers address the concerns of the employees as well as take feedback from them. e) The employees need to get the leadership opportunities occasionally. The process is helpful in motivating the employees to ensure enhancement of the organizational productivity. The mentioned criteria are significantly presented for maintaining the role of being an Employer of Choice. As Xoxo is an internet-service provider company, the need of maintaining such criteria is essential. A telecommunication company like Telstra has established the significant reputation by achieving the position of employer of choice. The proper initiatives taken by the respective company will also be effective in determining their position as the employer of choice. Conclusion The study is based on the case study of Xoxo, which is an internet service provider in the national and the international market. The study includes the features of the current trends of the labour market. Depending on such labour market, the human resource management of the company needs to concentrate on proper recruitment and retention processes. The strategic resourcing is necessary for facilitating the enhancement of the organizational progress. The strategic positioning is the process of strengthening the business positions in the competitive business world. It is to be notified that the fulfilment of the employees requirements is significant enough to become the employer of choice. However, the management of the organization has to keep concentration on providing effective training session to develop employees skills, which can be beneficial for the strengthened positioning of the organization. On the other hand, the organization even has to be concerned about the capital inve stment that can facilitate the training session. The utilization of the resources will be helpful for Xoxo Company in strengthening their competitive position in the competitive business market. International Marketing for PESTEL Analysis -myassignmenthelp

Question: Discuss about theInternational Marketing for PESTEL Analysis of Colombia. Answer: Introduction All the developed and developing countries are becoming highly advanced in terms of technology in the modern days. Every individual in todays time have mobile phone, which they use for internet surfing for which, many of them uses wireless router. The Linksys is planning to enter the Colombian market, which is why this report presents a PESTEL analysis of the country and offers market entry mode and target market suited for business success. PESTEL Analysis of Colombia PESTEL analysis tool is used by the business organizations to understand the market environment that helps them determining advantages and challenges they might face in the while operating in the market (Song, Sun and Jin 2017). The environmental factors mentioned in the PESTEL model can modify and affect the operation undertaken by the organization. Colombia is known for its diversified ecosystem ranging from tropical rainforest to perpetual snowfalls in the Andes Mountains makes the country rich for its natural resources. Moreover, the clear energy diversification developed by the country is also beneficial for the businesses start their venture in the country. The energy resources in Colombia include hydroelectric, wind and solar power and bio-fuel. Hence, it will be advantageous for Linksys to start their venture in Colombia (Colombiaemb.Org. 2017). U.S. has significant contribution in initiating this clean energy project. Above 150 companies have invested more than $11 million i n the project. The private sector spent nearly $1million. Moreover, the goal of the project is to produce approximately 30% of the countrys power through renewable sources by 2020 (Tetratech.Com. 2017). However, the heavy rainfall in the country can cause serious issue to operate as it causes soil erosion. The erosion sometimes disrupts the inland transportation of the country (Colombiaemb.Org. 2017; Globaltrade.Net. 2017). The pollution index of Colombia reflects high threat in the case of air pollution compared to other types of pollutions (Iamat.Org 2017). Colombia introduced their new law 1333 of 2009 on July 2009 that provides a framework for supporting environmental sustainability. It supports in enforcement of environmental law and penalties for violation. This law further safeguards the endangered species (Bdlaw.Com. 2017). Market Entry Mode Though other factors can reflect possible positive outcome in the Colombian market, environment can play both advantageous and disadvantageous role for the companies planning to extend their business in the country. The diversified clean energy will prove to be advantageous for the company for foreign direct investment. However, the soil erosion and heavy rainfall can cause serious trouble in operating within the Colombian boundaries. Hence, considering the environmental factors, it will be wise to choose exporting as the entry mode strategy which can potentially reduce the risk factors operating in the market. The company will then be able to supply their products to the market without a headache of managing the product in the country (Iberglobal.Com 2017). Recommendation on Targeting and Positioning Depending on the environmental factor of PESTLE analysis report, it can be concluded that heavy rainfall and soil erosion is the major environmental problem that possess threat to the company. These issues can potentially hamper the transportation system of the country. However, the both rural and urban societies are technologically advanced which creates the demand of the product Linksys will be selling (Qian and Qian 2017). Hence, it will be wise to deal with the retailers and make their product in both the rural and urban market with low-end pricing. Low pricing is due to the purchase power of the rural population as they suffers for irreversible loss from the soil erosion. Conclusion It is possible to conclude from the above discussion that the Exporting in Colombia of Linksys will be profitable at the current scenario to generate maximum revenue targeting the young generation of the society. The Question Of Whether To Legalize Drugs Or Not Is A Very Essay Example For Students

The Question Of Whether To Legalize Drugs Or Not Is A Very Essay controversial and important issue. Drugs affect so many areas ofsociety. The U.S. population has an extremely high rate of alcoholand drug abuse (Grolier). Several groups have formed and spoken outregarding their position. Speaking Out Against Drug Legalizationis the first step in helping to deliver the credible, consistentmessage about the risks and costs of the legalization of drugs topeople in terms that make sense to them. The anti-legalization messageis effective when communicated by representatives of the FederalGovernment, but takes on even more credibility when it comes fromthose in the community who can put the legalization debate in localperspective (Internet). After learning about the issues regarding both sides of theargument, I would choose to support those who oppose legalizationof any drugs. Drugs simply create problems which effect society inseveral ways. The government has made several efforts to control drugsand their users, however, to most the problem appears too out of hand. Others see potential profit in legalizing drugs and still otherssimply believe that individual rights to take drugs should beprotected. The group also acknowledged that the legalization conceptappeals to people who are looking for simple solutions to thedevastating problem of drug abuse (Internet). Society’s answer tothe problem is to trick the drug user by giving him what he wants. We will write a custom essay on The Question Of Whether To Legalize Drugs Or Not Is A Very specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now People believe that making drugs legal will take away the temptationto use them. This idea is wrong and far from logical. If drugs arelegalized then they will be more accessible to the young, addicted, and ignorant. As a result the ready availability of addicting drugs, and asa result of their heavy use for medical problems, many individualsbecame addicted to the narcotics contained in these potent medicines. In fact, in 1900, there were more narcotics addicts, proportionate tothe population, than there are today. At that time, most of the userswho became addicts were medical addicts. Very few abusers took drugsfor recreational purposes. In 1914, in an effort to curb theindiscriminate use of narcotics, the federal government passed theHarrison Act, making it illegal to obtain a narcotic drug without aprescription. During the 1920’s the Supreme Court ruled thatmaintaining addicts on narcotic drugs, even by prescription, was inviolation of the Harrison Act. Some 30,000 physicians were arrestedduring this period for dispensing narcotics, and some 3,000 actuallyserved prison sentences. Consequently, doctors all but abandoned thetreatment of addicts for nearly half a century in the United States(Grolier). The only resulting effect will be a negative one. There are nopositive aspects of putting drugs on the streets with a label readinglegal. There are plenty of people in society that find enoughtrouble on their own without the help of their country. Legalizingdrugs would have a devastating result that would affect society as awhole. Audiences need to understand that 70% of drug users areemployed, and that the school bus driver who drives your childrento school could smoke marijuana, that the surgeon who operates on youmay have cocaine in his system, and that the driver in back of you maybe on speed. The debate needs to demonstrate graphically how thecommon man will be impacted by drug legalization (Internet). There is an idea that the drug user is a low class, unemployed junkie. This is untrue. The drug user is often a whitecollared worker with a family and a future. They are not all dirtywith missing teeth and poor grammar. The common misconceptions of theuser are dangerous to those members of society trying to rid theworld of the problem. .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 , .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .postImageUrl , .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 , .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:hover , .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:visited , .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:active { border:0!important; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:active , .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201 .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u2a4884dbcd2e1b7e636beaeec456d201:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN MEXICO (FDI) EssayDrinking on the job is a social and economic problem with along history. With the growing popularity of illegal drugs in the1960’s and 1970’s, it was to be expected that their use in theworkplace would emerge as a major issue by the 1980’s. Estimates ofemployee drug use vary greatly, ranging from 10 percent to 25 percentfor the proportion of workers who use drugs occasionally on the job. The safe performance of some occupations among them, airline pilot, air traffic controller, truck driver, and physician can becompromised by drug use (Grolier). One of the greatest concerns of drugs is their contributionto the crime rate. Crime will always be a problem as long as drugsexist and are abused. One category of crime is the victimless crime, which includes drunkenness, drug addiction, prostitution and gambling. The use of the term victimless is an extremely qualified one. Itrefers to acts committed by consenting adults in private; the actsinvolve only the participants and are not harmful to others. If harmoccurs; it is inflicted only upon the willing participants. Victimlesscrimes are often characterized by the exchange of sought aftergoods and services, and they generate huge amounts of illegal income. It has been argued, however, that no crime is victimless. The drugaddict suffers physical and emotional harm and often commits propertycrimes to obtain money for buying drugs (Grolier). Crime too often is the result of a drug problem. The crimerate would probably lower if drugs were illegal because the drugabusers wouldn’t need to steal to pay for their drugs. Legalizingdrugs would just add to an already rising problem. Compared with other countries that keep crime statistics, theUnited States has the highest rate per 100,000 population for reportedmurders, rapes, and robberies. It is important to remember, however, that the incidence of crime is influenced by such factors asindustrialization, urbanization, drug and alcohol abuse, unemployment, and the availability of fire arms (Grolier). This should be reason enough to make all drugs illegal. Legalizing drugs will just feed the problem that teenagers and youngadults face daily. Making drugs legal makes them more conscienceaccessible and easier on the The illegal use of psychoactive drugsis vast and extensive in the United States. Some 70 million Americansage 12 and over have tried at least one or more prohibited drugs forthe purpose of getting high. The illegal drug trade represents anenormous economic enterprise. Sales of illegal drugs in the UnitedStates may have totaled $100 billion in 1986, more than the totalnet sales of the largest American corporation, and more than Americanfarmers earned from all crops combined. About 60% of the illegal drugssold worldwide end up in the United States (Grolier). The problems that society already faces with the unemployed, homeless, criminals, and high school drop-out rate will simplyincrease. What society would want such problems to escalate. Thethought of how seriously this could impact our entire nation is bothridiculous and terrifying. I strongly believe that there are a great deal of people whohave not tried drugs out of fear of getting caught. If this fear weretaken from them, they would probably become drug addicts. As stated bythe National Commission of Marijuana and Drug Abuse, The term abusehas no functional utility and has become no more than an arbitrarycode word for that drug which is presently considered wrong(Grolier). I believe that our country should uphold a few basicstandards, and keep drugs and the problems they create out of oursociety. Legalization is an act of neglect and ignorance.
